July Court Date For The Sean Meehan Case Postponed

173

The family of Sean Meehan confirmed yesterday that the July 4th Court date in Cashel is postponed as  Judge O’Shea is on holidays at the moment. Mr Meehan is engaged in planning enforcement proceedings taken by Tipperary County Council in respect of a home he has provided for himself  on land he owns at Woodinstown, Cahir.

Tipperary County Council refused his most recent two part planning application for  retention of his existing mobile home, entrance and septic tank and an application for the erection of a new form of cladding with a concrete render. Mr Meehan is to appeal this decision to An Bord Pleanála.

The court hearing is  likely to be rescheduled for the end of this month but may be adjourned pending the decision of An Bord Pleanála which may take several months.
