Groups or individuals organising events for Heritage Week 2024 are invited to apply for financial support from Tipperary County Council’s Heritage Office.
Heritage Week 2024 will take place from August 17th to 25th. Roisin O’Grady, the Tipperary Heritage Office is encouraging organisers to register their event on Heritageweek.ie as soon as possible. A printed programme of all events in Tipperary will be published by the Heritage Office based on the listings on the national website. Over 80 events were held last year in the county.The theme for 2024 is Connections, Routes and Networks. Ms O’Grady says this is a very general guide and that events that celebrate waterways, rail lines, pilgrim paths, traditional practices or any aspect of Heritage are welcome. The grant aid supplied in Tipperary ranges from €200 to €500 and completed application forms must be submitted by Friday July 5th at 4pm.
