Activities Programme At St Michaels Avenue Multi Use Games Area Commences Today

A number of local organisations have come together to put on a programme of activities at the St Michaels Avenue Multi Use Games Area(MUGA) in Tipperary Town. 

Commencing today there will be 6 weeks of activities on Wednesdays including soccer, basketball and other sports. Activities for children ages 5-8 years old will run from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m and at 4 – 5pm activities for 9-12 years old will be provided.  The first 3 weeks will be soccer with a coach from the FAI and the other three weeks will be basketball and GAA.  A small booking fee applies.

Tipperary Sports Partnership, Tipp Town Revitalisation Task force, TheThree Drives Family Resource Centre and Knockanrawley Resource Centre  are collaborating to deliver the Summer Activities as part of the Tipp Town Fun Programme. On July 9th a parent and child Healthy Cooking event is planned for Knockanrawley Resource Centre between 10.30am and 1pm. Further information at 089  963 8664.
