Joe and Marjorie will be opening their garden on Sunday 7th July at 1pm, in support of Mo Chara Animal rescue, at Clough Farmhouse, Clonoura, Glengoole E41 K765. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

Emly Community Festival – “Leave no one behind”, 10th to 14th July 2024. Some highlights: Thursday 11th, 8pm, historical walk on the railway in Emly, followed by a progressive 45 drive. Both at Byrnes Tavern.

Friday 12th, 6pm, Art and Craft exhibition opens at the hall. Cheese and wine reception. 9pm, fun quiz at McEnirys bar.

Saturday 13th, 7.30 am start for yoga at the tennis club – booking required – followed by breakfast. 12 noon – outdoor markets at the church car park. 2pm – vintage bike display/competition.

Sunday 14th, fancy dress parade at 1.30pm, followed by sports day at the GAA Pitch. 3pm to 5pm – afternoon tea dance in Byrnes Tavern- music by Ger Healy. 9.30pm – music at Byrnes Tavern with “Up she Flew”.

Galbally Community Council are having a draw to raise funds for the unkeep of the Community Centre in Galbally. They can be purchased at Cummins shop, Post Office, Mulveys and the butchers in Galbally. 1st prize is two tickets for the All-Ireland Final, 2nd prize two tickets for Snow Patrol and 3rd prize is a meal for two in Aherlow House.

The Annual Mass in Ballygarry graveyard, Glenbrohane takes place on Thursday evening 4th July at 7.30pm. All are welcome to attend.

Mass in Killaldriffe Cemetery on Monday the 8th July at 7.30pm.

First Aid Responder and Defib Training: Tipperary Town Lions Club are hosting a one night First Aid and Defib training course on Thursday 11th July. Local sports club and organisations are invited to sponsor a member of their club to attend and partake in this important and vital training. Summer Camps for 11 to 13 year olds in Hospital FRC. Limited place are still available. Camp will take place over 3 days from Tuesday 23rd to Thursday 25th July. This multi activity camp has something for everyone with a mixture of outdoor fun, games, creativity and music. Circle of Friends Cancer Support Centre is also currently looking for donations of wool for the Knit and Natter group. The group knits blankets for friends, which are given out free to those living with cancer. To continue this, any donations of wool would be greatly appreciated.
