The family of Golden native Kevin Ivers have confirmed his funeral arrangements. Mr Ivers died in a road traffic collision on June 9th near Perth in Australia. He was living there with his fiancée and two children. Two of his siblings also live in Australia.
A Service of Celebration for the life of Kevin will be held at the Granville Centre Hall in his hometown of Gingin, at noon, Australian time, on Wednesday 26th June.

This will be followed on Thursday by a Prayer Service of Remembrance followed by a cremation in East Chapel, Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park which can be viewed here – the service begins at 12.15pm Australian time. Perth is seven hours ahead of Irish time.
The community in Golden established a Go Fund Me appeal to support the Ivers family which has been well supported to date with over €90,000 contributed.

Kevin Ivers is survived by his heartbroken fiancée Rhyllie, sons Sonny and Banjo, parents Richie and Ann, brothers Paddy and David, sisters Donna and Aoife, grandmother Bridget, brother-in-law Michael, sisters-in-law Emma and Sheila, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, relatives and many friends in Australia and Golden.
