Residents in Knockavilla are experiencing disrupted water supply again in recent days. The Knockavilla Community Council has sought an explanation for supply interruptions over the last 5 days. The latest information is that a mains pipe has burst causing an outage in Donohill, Monard, Solohead, Ayle, parts of Tipperary Town, Greenfields, Cappawhite and surrounding areas. Repairs are scheduled to take place until 6:30pm today with the company advising that it will take a further 3-4 hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.
Over the last few days, a power outage, a burst pipe and an airlock have impacted supplies in the Knockavilla and surrounding areas causing huge frustration to members of the local community.
