Drivers using the N24 between Tipperary town and Limerick Junction are advised of two days of road works next week.  Temporary Traffic management will be put in place while the road resurfacing works take place.  The work is scheduled to take place on Monday June 17th and Tuesday June 18th. The contractor is expected to be on site between 8am and 6pm each day.

Drivers in the area are reminded of a one way traffic system coming into operation on the Cashel side of Tipperary town  also on June 17th due to a major Road Improvement Project  For a period of approximately 8 months traffic exiting Tipperary town on the N74 via the Cashel Road will travel on a single lane carriageway. Traffic entering Tipperary town will be diverted via Knockanrawley and enter Main Street, Tipperary town via the Bansha Road.  Full details of this project, which extends from Bank Place to the town limits just past St Michael’s Graveyard and is expected to take a total of 18 months to deliver can be found on the dedicated website n74tipperarytown.ie. Drivers and residents can also sign up for updates via WhatsApp at 087 349 3645.
