Cruinniú na nÓg Events Planned For Tipperary Town Library

Children in Tipperary town will have a wide range of  free activities to enjoy on Saturday as two Cruinniú na nÓg events are planned.

Tipperary town Library will host an event with 4 separate activities between 11.30 and 4pm while Tipperary Creative Places will hold an event in the Market Yard  between 3pm and 5 pm focused on making colourful wigs with artist  Mags Rudnicka. All materials will be provided and Mags will lead the activity for the free event. Children can take home their creations.

The Tipperary Library event includes a music workshop at 11.30am for children 5 – 8 years of age, a song workshop between 1pm and 2pm for children aged  8 – 12 years and, a drumming workshop from  2.30pm to 3.30pm which will conclude the musical part of the day. At 3.45pm there is a children’s book launch by staff member Leigh Dowling. This is his second Childrens book – A Viking boot for Dragon.  There will also be a Viking Themed Craft workshop to end the event in Tipperary library.
