Late Rachel Kenneally To Be Featured On TG4’s Scealta na gCorn Tonight

Tipperary Ladies Football is reminding supporters that the late Rachel Kenneally and the Cup named in her memory is to feature in a new TG4 programme tonight.

The six part series called Scealta na gCorn will tell the stories behind the many cups and trophies presented during the sporting season. Edith Carroll will tell viewers about the late Rachel Kenneally, a former member of Aherlow LGFA and Tipperary Ladies football teams and the cup named in her memory. Rachel died in 2018 aged 26 due to cancer.

Gráinne McElwain is the presenter and tonight s programme which begins at 8.30pm includes a visit to Semple Stadium and includes the Dan Breen Cup, the Sean Treacy Cup,  the Cross of Cashel Trophy, the Dillon Quirke Cup and a visit to Lar na Páirce GAA Museum in Thurles. The series will run for 6 weeks traveling to other counties for their Scealta na gCorn.
