The Junction Gastro Pub and Restaurant owned and operated by MJ Buckley has emerged as the winner of the Gastro Pub of the Year at the Food Awards Ireland 2024.
The Food Awards Ireland 2024 is in it’s 7th year with the Competition celebrating dedication and hard work in the food industry and the exceptional dining experiences provided by operators in the sector.
The event is organised by Creative Oceanic with businesses shortlisted as finalists by nominations from the public and the winners selected by public vote.
The Junction has previously been a winner in the Restaurant Association of Ireland Annual Awards.
There was double success for the Ballykisteen area as The Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel has been named Tipperary Hotel of the Year 2024 by the prestigious Europe Travel & Hospitality Awards.
Hotel management say they are thrilled with the latest accolade and that the recognition, which is based on both guest feedback and industry standards, means the world to the team.
