Tipperary Central Community Policing Unit will be out and about across Tipperary from 24th to 31st May 2024.
Tomorrow, Friday May 24th, the unit is in Knockanrawley Resource Centre, Tipperary town from noon to 4pm. Gardaí are also offering the Property Marking services during these sessions and invite members of the community to have valuable property marked with their Eircode. Items such as Trailers, Lawnmowers, Bicycles, Quads and Tools can be marked. The person seeking to avail of the free service must bring the item and their Eircode to the event. Gardaí are also using the opportunity to engage with the wider public about all aspects of safety (personal, online and in particular, road safety).
An event will be held in Rahealty National School on Sunday May 26th between 3 to 7pm, in Ballynonty village from 3 – 7pm on Monday May 27th, in Moyne GAA Club on May 28th from 3 – 7pm, in Dundrum Kickhams GAA grounds on May 29th from 3 – 7pm, in Lattin GAA club grounds from 4 to 7.30 on May 30th and in Borrisoleigh GAA field on May 31st between 3 and 7pm. Sergeant Ray Moloney says Sunday’s event in Rahealty will go ahead despite the Tipp V Clare match in Thurles.
