The Bishop’s Buttery Restaurant at the Cashel Palace has emerged as the Munster and All Ireland Winner in the category of Best Hotel and Guesthouse Restaurant at the 2024 Irish Restaurant Awards.
The latest recognition follows a Michelin Star in February 2024 in recognition of it’s excellent food offering. The Bishop’s Buttery was the only Tipperary based winner at the event.
The All-Ireland final of the Irish Restaurant Awards 2024 took place in the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, on Monday night where almost 1,200 of the Irish hospitality industry’s owners, chefs, managers and staff gathered to crown the best establishments from across the country. Cork restaurants emerged as the big winners on the night with Dede at the Custom House Baltimore named Best Restaurant at the event while Aishling Moore of Goldie was crowned Best Chef.
Cashel Blue Cheese was the sponsor of the Best in Private Dining Award which went to Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club.
