Tipperary residents are being warned of Thunderstorms and heavy downpours and hail this afternoon and evening.
Met Eireann issued the Status Orange warning at approximately 1.45pm today and the warning is now in effect until 8pm tonight.
The warning covers the south east of the country and includes Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny and Wexford.
Met Eireann says there will be slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy downpours and hail.
This could lead to flash flooding, what it calls “very difficult travelling conditions with poor visibility” and potential damage to power lines.
