A large crowd is expected in Cooke Park Tipperary town this evening as the local team St Michael’s face Two Mile Borris FC in the semi-final of the Tipperary Cup.
The game will kick off at 7pm. St Michaels are enjoying a hugely successful season to date and a place in this weekend’s Tipperary Cup final would be another momentous occasion for the team that narrowly lost last year’s FAI Junior cup final.
The Tipperary club are seeking to achieve a treble this season having already won the Premier Division League title and the Munster Junior Cup.
A place in the final is up for grabs where the opposition will be Cashel Town FC or Clonmel Celtic – their semi-final takes place in Cashel tomorrow night
