The Tipperary Music Festival concluded last night after 4 nights of concerts and dancing in the Festival Marquee at Lidl Carpark in Bank Place.

Festival Chairperson Eamon Ryan says the Festival went very well and thanked the volunteers that helped and the local sponsors including deputy Mattie McGrath  for their support. A full list of the over 30 sponsors will be published in the coming days.

Mr Ryan says the line-up of performers and great weather all combined to make it four brilliant nights of entertainment and says he is already looking forward to the 2025 event.

A Special Tribute was paid to music promoter John O’Brien from Kilross for his contribution to planning and delivering the event. 2024 is the second year of the Tipperary Music Festival.

Mr Ryan also thanked the local businesses that assisted in putting on the event including Cappawhite Engineering and Plant Hire and the committee members including his son Stephen, Sharon O’Dwyer, Jack Leonard and Stevie O’Donnell in addition to Music Promoter John O’Brien. Tipperary Tidy Towns members also volunteered at the event for which Tipperary Co-op was the main sponsor.
