Tipperary County Council is seeking applicants for the position Road Crossing Warden on the Green in Cashel – the position is filled via a Community Employment scheme and is now advertised on the Jobs Ireland website with an April closing date.
The post has been vacant since December. Cllr Declan Burgess is urging the council to fill the role and asked via a motion to this week’s Municipal District meeting if it was possible to integrate the CE role to an existing or new post within the outdoor personnel working for the Council.
Cllr Buress is highlighting that it is a health and safety issue for residents in Cashel and students in St. John the Baptist Boys NS, St. John the Baptist Girls Primary School and Cashel Deanery School.
The council asks if anyone is aware of a person interested in the role that they contact the Jobs Ireland Website or the Local CE Scheme supervisor. Garda vetting applies to this position.
