Tipperary farmers are invited to avail of an in person Clinic for support in making their applications online for the Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS) and other area-based schemes.
The BISS Farmer Clinics will take place from 10am-4.30pm and staff from the Department will provide one-to-one support to assist farmers to submit their scheme applications well in advance of the closing date of 15th May 2024.
The Department says clinics have proved very popular in past years with farmers.
In total, 17 Farmer Clinics are scheduled across the country and are expected to be particularly useful for farmers who do not have an advisor to assist them with their application.
The Clinics start on April 2nd and the final one is scheduled for May 9th. In county Limerick there is a clinic in DAFM building in Raheen on April 18th and one in Clonmel at the Hotel Minella on May 7th.
The Firgrove hotel in Mitchelstown on will host a clinic on May 8th. Each drop in clinic runs from 10am until 4.30pm.
