Tipperary TD Jackie Cahill is welcoming confirmation that Tipperary County Council will prioritise road safety works in Ballycahill village.
At yesterday’s Thurles MD meeting it was confirmed that the work has been approved by Tipperary County Council
Deputy Cahill says the council will now install a footpath from the shop in Ballycahill as far as the car park opposite the church, and will also install a raised pedestrian crossing in the village. The TD says the safety works are needed and is delighted to have secured progress on the issue.
