Allianz Hurling League Final To be Held In The FBD Semple Stadium

FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles will host the Allianz Hurling League final between Clare and Kilkenny on Saturday April 6TH. The pitch has been unavailable for a few weeks to allow the surface to recover from the impact of the weather and recent matches. The game will have a 7.15pm throw in with TG4 providing coverage.

Limerick, the reigning champions were defeated by Kilkenny at the weekend while Tipperary went down to Clare in yesterday’s semi-final. Limerick and Clare will meet in Ennis in the first of the round robin series in the Munster Championship on April 21st. Tipperary’s next game is the Munster Championship contest with Limerick on April 28th in TUS Gaelic park.

Limerick, as current All Ireland champions are seeking to achieve the unique feat of five Senior Hurling All Ireland titles in a row this year having won 5 titles in the last six years including 4 in a row between 2020 – 2023.
