Tipperary town Tidy Towns group is to hold a meeting today, Wednesday March 13th. The meeting is to be held in the Porterhouse at Bank Place. The group continues to expand and will have 7 Tus workers contributing to it’s activities this year.
The meeting this week will consider a financial report, a visit to St Michael’s Girls school, a funding application, an update on anti-litter signs, an Election Poster petition to the Municipal Council, arrangements for St Patrick’s Day and an outline of work for the Tus Workers. It is intended to allocate Tus workers to the Tipperary Hills and River Ara Walkway and the Aherlow Road in an effort to maintain these locations to an excellent standard.
Group chairperson Paul O’Callaghan says all are welcome to attend but notes that the meeting which commences at 7pm must end at 8pm as there is a following event for the meeting room.
