The organisers of the St Patrick’s day celebrations in Cashel are inviting the public to attend their event on the Plaza for a Community Celebration on St Patrick’s Day.
The event will take place between 1 and 5pm on Sunday March 17th.
The event will feature the pipe band, a brass band, entertainment from the Wobbly circus, performances by the Burgess school of Irish Dance, Bru Boru Comhtaltas, singer Alana Manton, Rush Traditional Music Group, the DAPA dance group, local band Ferns and conclude with a performance by Sean Feery and Shay Fitz.
The organisers say there was very little interest or availability from groups for a parade this year but it is intended to hold a parade full of floats and marching groups in 2025.
The event is supported by Tipperary County Council, Tipperary Cashel Municipal District Council, Affinity Credit Union Cashel and Amneal Pharmaceuticals.
