There is to be no repeat of FAI Junior cup glory for St Michael’s this year. The Saints lost out in yesterday’s quarterfinal to the 2022 winners Villa F.C. The final score was Villa FC 2 St Michael’s 0. St Michael’s lost the 2023 FAI Junior Cup final after extra time to Newmarket Celtic from county Clare.
There is a possibility that St Michaels will face Villa FC, based in Waterford, again in the Munster Junior Cup Final in April.
