Tipperary County Council today issued a notice of a partial junction closure on the M8 to commence on Sunday.
Drivers travelling north on the M8 motorway seeking to access the N24 road to Clonmel and onwards to Waterford are advised of a partial road closure at Junction 10 from Sunday evening until Wednesday morning.
The M8 Northbound On – Ramp And Northbound Off-Ramp at Junction 10 is to be closed during this period to enable a utilities survey to be completed in the area.
The junction will close at 8pm on Sunday February 18th and reopen at 5am on Wednesday February 21st.
Traffic Travelling Northbound looking to access the N24 going towards Clonmel/Waterford should proceed to Junction 9, then re-enter the M8 Southbound and exit at Junction 10.
Traffic Travelling Westbound on the N24 planning to join the M8 Northbound should divert along the R639 through New Inn to Junction 9.
