A Tipperary town business has relaunched after an interior redesign and the customers picked a new name. The Rambler pub at 66 Main Street is now open for business and will trade 7 days a week – it was formerly known as O’Neills. The pub will not serve food for now but hopes to have a new coffee machine installed in the coming days with tea/coffee and scones to be available in the near future.
The owners say they wanted to give the town a little boost and to provide an attractive location in which people could gather. The interior décor has had professional input and gives visitors a very attractive location for meetings or social gatherings. Displays of interesting artefacts are complemented by the use of decorated iron radiators rescued from a former convent. Sports fans are catered for also with four TV screens showing a variety of channels. An extensive heated outdoor area is also available at the rear.
The pub offers 8 draught beer options and a digital jukebox with live music also planned for the future. Phone charging outlets and bar counter hooks for handbags are also provided displaying the level of customer care available. The owners, a husband and wife team, say Gina Franklin will lead the staff roster with plans to expand the team in the near future.
