Three county Tipperary soccer clubs featured in today’s draw for the quarter finals of the FAI Junior Cup. St Michaels from Tipperary town had the narrowest of losses in last year’s final to Newmarket Celtic from County Clare.
St Michaels are drawn away to face Villa FC of Waterford in this year’s quarter final with the match to be played on March 3rd. Thurles based Peake Villa also have an away match to take on Gorey Rangers of county Wexford. Clonmel Celtic have a home fixture to take on Donegal’s Cockhill Celtic.
The fourth quarter final features an all Limerick clash with Regional United taking on Pike Rovers.
