St Joseph’s CBS in Nenagh secured it’s first ever Harty Cup title on Saturday when they defeated Limerick School Ardscoil Rís by one point with a last minute goal in added time.

The final score was Nenagh CBS 2 -16 to 21 points for the gallant Limerick side.  Andy Hoolan scored the goal which gave county Tipperary a consecutive Harty Cup win following the victory of Cashel Community School in 2023.

A crowd of just over 3,000 attended the final at Cusack Park Ennis. The competition  is held for U19A  Hurling teams in Munster Schools.  Nenagh CBS will now go on to take part in the Croke Cup to possibly secure an All Ireland title.
