A major Careers Exhibition is to be held in the Abbey School in Tipperary town on Friday January 26th. The event will see over 58 exhibitors offer employment or education and training opportunities.
Leading employers both local and national will be on hand with details of job opportunities – companies such as The Cashel Palace, Tipperary Credit Union, O’Dwyer Steel, Irish Rail, Tipperary Co-op, Brodeen Engineering, Fiserv, Waystone Financial, Stryker, Johnson & Johnson etc Tipperary and Limerick Educational and Training Boards and all of the major Universities will also take part in the Exhibition.
The Abbey School is issuing an open invitation for the public to attend be it “a 5th or 6th Year exploring options after school, a TY or 3rd Year looking at programme/subject choice or a work experience opportunity, a parent looking for some advice or a graduate or employee looking for a new opportunity in 2024. There will be something for everybody on Friday!”
Mr Conor Hayes, the Guidance Counsellor at The Abbey School, is encouraging job seekers, 5th and 6th year students and parents to attend the event.
The Exhibition will run between 10am and 1.30pm.
There is no admission fee and no pre-registration required for the event which will be held in the spacious PE Hall on Station Road, Tipperary town.
