A number of information clinics are being held today and tomorrow in respect of persons seeking health care in Belfast as part of the National Treatment Purchase Fund(NTPF) intended to reduce waiting lists for necessary healthcare.
The Sightsaver Bus Service began last year and is working with Kingsbridge Hospitals in Belfast and Ballykelly to deliver a range of health care procedures.
An information clinic is available today in Pallasgreen Community Centre between noon and 2pm, and also in the Spafield Family Resource centre in Cashel between 3pm and 5pm today. Tomorrow, Friday January 26th an information clinic will be held in the Excel Centre in Tipperary town between 11am and 2pm. Staff from the Hospital will be on hand to assist with queries and to book any initial consultations.
The service was initiated locally by John O’Heney and queries can also be emailed to [email protected].
