Ireland AM is to air it’s Tuesday weather reports from the Glen of Aherlow in a major boost for the Aherlow Fáilte Society.
It is thought that Deric Hartigan will be the presenter visiting the famed location for four weather reports throughout the day.
The final locations have yet to be finalised but viewers can keep an eye out for possible locations such as the Aherlow House Hotel or Christ the King with locations in Lisvernane and Bansha also under consideration.
Limerick man Deric Hartigan is a hugely popular presenter with Virgin and is celebrating 18 years on TV this year.
Jane Ryan, Tourism officer for the Glen of Aherlow says “This is a fantastic opportunity for Glen of Aherlow and its Winter Walking Festival to be highlighted on a national stage.
The team at Aherlow Fáilte have worked hard for many years to provide a safe and enjoyable experience in the Glen for walkers of all abilities.”
