Revenue Officers at Shannon Airport seized 2.5 kgs of herbal cannabis on Tuesday January 16th. The illicit drugs, with an estimated value of €50,000, were discovered in parcels originating from the USA and were destined for an address in county Tipperary.
Authorities have released images of the seized drugs as shown.Garda and Revenue say their investigations are ongoing.
These seizures are part of Revenue’s ongoing operations targeting the importation of illegal drugs.
