Bansha is to host one of the Harty Cup quarterfinals today. The competition is the premier Schools Hurling Competition for players up to U19. Nenagh CBS play CBC Cork at 1pm in Bansha with the winners through to the semi-final where they will take on either Midleton CBS or Charleville CBS who meet in Mallow also at 1pm today.
The other quarterfinals today will see last year’s beaten finalists Thurles CBS take on St Flannan’s of Ennis in Meelick at 1pm with the winner playing the winner of Ardscoil Rís and John The Baptist CS Hospital who meet in Kilmallock at the same time.
Cashel Community School the 2023 Harty cup champions were knocked out of the competition in the previous round by Charleville CBS
