Residents in the Golden, Kilfeacle area of west Tipperary are without water today. The area did suffer a disruption to supply on Sunday but the supply resumed later on Sunday night.
The Uisce Eireann website indicates that a pump station interruption may cause supply disruptions to Kilfeacle, Monateen, Golden, Ballinanard, Castlepark, Dark Road, Pierces Lot, Thomastown and surrounding areas in Co. Tipperary.
Works are scheduled to take place until 11am on 10 January.
The company says it recommends that customers allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for your supply to fully return.
In addition, Uisce Eireann is giving notice of works as part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme that will impact customers in the Lagganstown and surrounding areas. Step testing works may cause supply disruptions to Lagganstown and surrounding areas between 1am until 6am on 10 January. Supply may take 2-3 hours to fully return to all affected properties. Uisce Eireann can be contacted by telephoning 1 800 278 278 – the customer call centre operates 24 hours every day. The company website is available at www.water.ie
