Uisce Eireann says full supply has been restored to customers in the Emly area as of yesterday evening. The outage began on the 3rd of January. The company says it understands how disruptive outages can be and regrets any inconvenience caused.
A major leak in the network caused the disruption to supply in Duncummin, Ballycurrane, Emly and surrounding areas. The company is reminding vulnerable customers to register with Uisce Éireann to receive direct communications for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours.
The Uisce Éireann customer care helpline is open 24/7 on 1800 278 278 and updates are also available on the website water.ie – however the website has not been updated in respect of this outage since January 3rd.
