Nenagh Christmas Gathering Singalong community event will take place on the 22nd December at 3pm till 6pm in Nenagh.  Music from Jennifer’s school of music, buskers and Callum Delahunty, puckane choir and portroe choir preforming to create great Christmas feeling. We are busking for Silver Arch which is a charity in Nenagh that does so much for the community.

The Abbey School in conjunction with the Abbey Parents Council, are running a Christmas Raffle on Friday December 22nd. Tickets can be purchased online using the link on the Abbey School Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages. Abbey students will also be selling tickets outside Bennett’s SuperValu and Bank of Ireland Thursday 14th & Friday 15th December and more dates will follow. Tickets also available at the school office (062) 52299 

Mount Bruis Womens’ group in conjunction with Lattin/Cullen Ceoltas, 5K family fun run/walk. This event is in aid of Circle of Friends Cencer Support Centre on St. Stephens Day the 26th of December 2023. Registration will begin at 11.30am at Lattin GAA Hall. The walk will start at 12pm.

Hillwalking Radio Club will hold a Lantern Walk in Galbally. Hillwalking radio Club and The Morning Ramblers are hosting two lantern Walks on Thursday 28th of December at 7pm from Galbally Community Centre. The two walks will be through Darbys bed and through the Village park in a moments mediation at the Grotto. In aid of Clare’s Wish Foundation. For more information contact 086 0888145.

Christmas Festivities in the Glen. Promoted by Glenbrohane Community Assoc. Thursday 21st December Winter Solstice Walk up Sliabh Riadh. From Church Carpark at 7.30pm. Followed by cuppa in the hall. Bucket Collection on the night for little Noah Quish. Eyes down at 8pm in the Hall. Friday 22nd December, Bingo Night, followed by a Christmas social gathering in Fogarty’s Bar. Prize for the best Santa Hat.

Cappawhite Bingo Christmas Special December 22nd Jackpot Bonus Night. Also Split the Bucket over 3 nights pay out on 22nd December.

Two-Mile-Borris have opened the crib in Two-Mile-Borris again this year. It’s open 7 days a week for public and all are welcome.

Inch Tidy Villages Fundraiser Walk. Inch Loop on Sunday 31st December. Registration at 11am in Inch Hurling Field. Walk departing at 11.15am for Inch Loop. Parking available at Inch Hurling field. Refreshments available after by donation. Bucket collection on the day to go to the upkeep of graveyards and the village. All contributions gratefully accepted.
