A major housing planning application has been lodged into the council for outside Cashel.If given the greenlight the development will consist of the demolition of an existing agricultural building and the construction of 8 two storey two bedroom terraced dwellings, 36 two storey three bedroom semi-detached dwellings, 66 two storey four bedroom semi detached dwellings, 9 two storey four bedroom detached dwellings, The applicant JSF Property Holding Ltd says the development would also include 20 Apartments in a three storey block with the ground floor being used for a creche and there would be a total of 276 car parking spaces.The proposed development would be located at Wallers Lot/Hughes Lot East, Cashel with access to the housing estate from a new southern roundabout junction at the R692 Upper Green Road ( Clonmel Road).The council is set to make a decision on the planning application by February 17th 2024.
