Byrnes Family Secure Last Spot In Ireland’s Fittest Family Final

The Byrnes family from Tipperary Town are through to the final of Ireland’s Fittest Family.

There was two heats as part of the semi finals with each heat having three families competing against each other.

The local family were up against O Regans from Kerry and the Staffords from Cavan in the Bog Jog challenge finishing with a time of 4 minutes 56 seconds – however they were pipped by the Cavan Family which meant they faced an eliminator to secure their finalist spot.

Byrnes and O Regan family went head to head in the eliminator, it was all about getting all 4 family members reaching the top of the ramp with the Byrnes finishing on top.

The Bonnar’s family from Waterford with very strong Cashel links also got through to the final following an eliminator in the other heat challenge.
