A man in his 30s was charged at Carrick on Suir District Court yesterday after being arrested in Cahir early on Tuesday morning.
The man was charged with possession of offensive weapons, causing criminal damage and committing theft and burglary in Cahir in the early hours Tuesday, December 5th.
He was arrested in the Abbey Street area of Cahir and subsequently detained at Cahir Garda Station.
A file is to be prepared for submission to the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the possibility of further charges.
