A new facility to be managed by RehabCare Day Care Service is to be officially opened in Thurles next week.
Minister of State for Disability Anne Rabbitte will open the state-of-the-art Day service offering person-centred care for young people with disabilities.
Hayfield Manor, located on the Bohernamona Road, Thurles is run by RehabCare, the care division of the Rehab Group, and will cater to individuals with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disabilities, and those with specific physical support needs. The primary goals of the new service are centred around enhancing individuals’ quality of life and supporting people to live lives of their choosing. Hayfield Manor can accommodate 25 people on-site.
The opening ceremony is to take place on Tuesday December 12th at 10am.
