Drivers in the Clonmel area advised that Quay Street in Clonmel will be closed until December 13th to facilitate demolition works at the former Clonmel Arms Hotel.
The property has been vacant since 2005 and has become derelict since that time.
The site is to be redeveloped with a new hotel and a small retail offering connected to the hotel. A local firm Mulcahy Construction is leading the demolition work.
