All schools in county will open later tomorrow amid the arrival of Storm Debi.
The measure is been taken as a safety precaution as the county is under a Status Orange wind warning
The news follows a meeting of the National Emergency Co-ordination Group this evening.
Meanwhile Irish Rail says speed restrictions will be in place between Limerick/Limerick Junction, with delays expected.
Bus Eireann says the school buses they operate will not go ahead tomorrow morning.
The county will be under a Status Orange wind warning from 2am until 12 noon on Monday.
The weather conditions will lead to severe and damaging gusts.
The impacts could include damage to exposed and vulnerable structures, dangerous travelling conditions, disruption to services and damage to power lines.
The Premier County is also under a yellow status rain and wind warning from midnight until 3pm tomorrow.
