The team developing the options to upgrade the N24 road between Waterford and Cahir say the preferred Option will not be available for public viewing before year end as originally scheduled.
The work is being supervised by Kilkenny County Council with a design team from ARUP consultants employed on the project.
The latest update says that work on assessing options in line with Transport Infrastructure Guidelines to select the Preferred Transport Solution is ongoing.
It is now expected that the preferred corridor will be revealed in January 2024.
Once dates/venues to display the proposed route are finalised all landowners in the wider corridor will be notified.
A specific notice will be sent to landowners in the preferred corridor closer to the time of public display.

Tipperary County Council is overseeing the N24 Cahir to Limerick Junction Road Project also led by a team from ARUP Consultants.
