Engineers worked overnight in Tipperary town centre to complete the installation of road sensors for the traffic lights at the junction of Bridge Street and the N24 or Main street.
The recent resurfacing works meant the sensors had to be reinstated at all four sides of the junction.
Drivers should note an improved service from the traffic lights as the sensors control the changes rather than a timed system.
