Oliver Plunkett Park Residents Likely To Wait Longer For Street Lights To Be Restored

Residents in Oliver Plunkett Park in Cashel may have a long wait before Public Lighting in the Estate is restored.  The lights have been out of action since Saturday October 28th.

Tipperary County Council says crews have been working on Cashel on Friday and Saturday (Nov 3rd & 4th)  to resolve faults at Oliver Plunkett Park, Spafield Crescent and Wallers Lot. According to the Council the issue with the lights at Spafield and the pathway to the Primary School, has now been resolved, and so these lights are now operational again.

The repair service is provided by Enerveo limited and the company has established that in  Oliver Plunkett Park, the fault is on the ESB network, which will require an ESB crew to investigate and repair.

Tipperary County Council and Enerveo are working with ESB to arrange this as soon as possible with a crew possibly arriving on Wednesday, November 8th. Members of the public can report any light out of order via the Enerveo.com website or by telephoning 0818 372 772 – those calling are asked to check the pole number before calling to log an outage.
