The organisers of the Poulmucka and District Annual Ploughing Match say the event planned for tomorrow is postponed due to the ground conditions after the recent heavy rainfall.
A new date will be arranged as soon as possible. The event was being held on the lands of Rena O’Meara near Kilmalougue Bridge(By Kind Permission).
This event is intended to provide an opportunity for competitors from the locality as well as other counties to come together and demonstrate their ploughing skills.
It is also a qualifying match for South Tipperary Ploughing competitors aiming to compete at the All Ireland Ploughing Championships in September 2024. The event is a free event for spectators.
