A local community activist is set to run in next year’s local elections.
John O Heney says he’s always had a huge interest in helping people and plans on running as an Independent Councillor Cashel-Tipperary Local Electrol Area.
Mr O Heney believes it will be a very challenging task however, he hopes to put together a very competitive campaign.
The local elections will be some time in May or June, the exact date will be decided by the government.
