Overnight water restrictions will be place from tonight for residents on the Ardfinnan Regional Public Water Supply.
Uisce Eireann says the decision is necessary to ensure a daytime supply in the area.
The low pressure/outage will start from 9pm each evening to 7am the following morning, and are required to help reservoir levels recover.
The areas affected include Ardfinnan Village, Ballyhist, Cranna, Ballybrado, Kilcommon, Roosca, Ballyea, Castlegrace, St Finnan’s estate, Castle View estate, Ros Na Grene, Ladys Abbey, Ashfield Manor Estates, Goatenbridge, Poulatar, Ballyvera, Newcastle, Middlequater, Knockperry, Garrencasey and surrounding areas.
Water levels are being reviewed daily and the restrictions will be in place until Friday, 27 October.
