The 2 Johnnies are to begin a six week run of a new TV show on RTE2 and the RTE Player tonight.
The 2 Johnnies Late Night Lock In begins tonight with singer Una Healy, comedian Seann Walsh and GAA commentator Marty Morrissey as the first guests.
Also coming up in the show, The Highstool Prophets will be visiting the pub for a performance of This is the Life.
A Parish quiz between audience members is also a feature of the new programme with Whitegate in County Cork taking on Coolgreany in County Wexford in the television debut of The Parish Quiz. House band, The Young Ones will provide live music throughout the evening.
The programme is one hour in duration and starts at 9.35pm each Thursday until Thursday 23 November.
The 2 Johnnies are based in Cahir, although Johnny “Smacks” McMahon is originally from Roscrea. Johnny “JohnnyB” O’Brien makes up the second half of the dynamic duo that have taken their talents to TV, Radio, Podcasts, Recording and Live venues since starting their careers in entertainment in 2016.
