Tipperary town Creative Places is to continue with the Wednesdays at Wellworths Art classes for families and adults today and again on October 25th.
The classes are available on a drop in basis, free of charge with no booking required.
The family and children class runs from 3.30pm until 5pm while the adult class will run from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Wellworths is located in the town centre at 5-6 Main Street.
On Wednesday October 25th at 6pm, the Tipperary Town Memories oral history project will form part of the evening class.
Jennifer Ryan Kelly was commissioned by Creative Places Tipperary to animate some of the memories shared by eleven local people of life in Tipperary town.
This will be screened on the evening(October 25th) prior to the class which will feature artist Mike Byrne giving a workshop on animation techniques until 7.30pm.
The Oral History Project was designed & facilitated by Mary Alice O Connor in Knockanrawley Resource Centre earlier this year and the stories were aired on Tipp Mid West Radio as part of Heritage Week 2023.Wednesdays at Wellworths is a new activity that is part of Creative Places Tipperary Town, a project that aims to get more people involved in creative arts activities.
