Garda in Tipperary town station advise that the N24 Road is closed at present between Tipperary Town and Bansha.
No injuries are reported but a lorry has been involved in a collision with a barrier on the N24 in the vicinity of Kilshane and is now blocking the roadway.
As of 5pm Garda cannot give a time for the road to re-open as it depends on when the truck can be removed.
