As the Awards season continues a local pub has achieved a consecutive win in the prestigious Irish Pub Awards.
Kickham House, a Tipperary town-based pub, has just secured its second consecutive victory as the ‘Best Digital Innovator’ in the South East Region at the 2023 Irish Pub Awards.
Proprietors, Nina and Travis Frisby, who took the helm of this establishment in November 2021 say they are dedicated in their efforts to place Tipperary town firmly on the map where it rightfully belongs.
The owners are also extending thanks to all of their social media followers for their likes, shares, and comments. Praise and thanks is also being extended to the staff for their contribution to the success of Kickham House.
Over the last two years the new proprietors have replaced the beer cooling system, invested in new high-quality appliances and furniture, transformed the backyard into a beer garden oasis, all while retaining the pub’s original traditional atmosphere.
Among the 63 regional victors vying for the coveted overall ‘Best of Ireland’ title, Kickham House proudly stands as one of just two regional champions hailing from County Tipperary in the 2023 Irish Pub Awards. This achievement is all the more remarkable when you consider that the South East Region, encompassing the vibrant counties of Tipperary, Kilkenny, Waterford, and Wexford, is renowned for its rich pub and hospitality culture.
Irish Pub Awards are open to all members of VFI and LVA with 63 regional winners across nine award categories. The national winners in each category and the overall winner will be announced at the Gala Awards final on November 15th in The Round Room at the Mansion House, Dublin 2.
On top of the last year’s win at the 2022 Irish Pub Awards the Kickham House has been shortlisted as one of the Top 5 ‘Emerging Businesses’ at the 2023 Tipperary Business Awards hosted by the Tipperary Chamber of Commerce – the results will be revealed on November 24th at the Abbey Court Hotel in Nenagh.
